Step-by-step Guide

  1. Download the Libby app from your app store
  2. Select Macomb Public Library District
  3. Enter your library card number
  4. Enter your password

Boundless

Attention BOUNDLESS users: Due to the recent closure of Baker & Taylor, the Boundless app that hosts the eRead Illinois collection of e-books and downloadable audios is being discontinued.
 
RAILS Library system is moving quickly to ensure minimal interruption to your use of the eRead Illinois collection. In the coming weeks, the entire eRead Illinois collection will be migrated to a new platform: the Palace Project app.
 
Holds are no longer allowed. Nov. 2 is the last day for checkout and Nov. 17 is the last day of availability. The new Palace Project app will launch Dec. 2.
 
NOTE: This does not impact the Libby app. Libby remains in service.

Inkie.org Library features content by Illinois authors, creators, and communities.  It includes titles from a a variety of genres such as mysteries, romance, juvenile, young adult, and over 300 e-books from Arcadia Publishing which focus on the history of Illinois towns and significant events in the state’s past. These titles are available for simultaneous use and they can be checked out by anyone in Illinois; no library card or login is required. Learn more HERE.

  • Download ebooks to your Kindle, Nook, iPad, or other e-reader; or download audiobooks to your iPod or computer. Note: you must log in with your Macomb Library Card to download; stop by the library for your card number & PIN if you don't know them.

  • Online articles about a variety of science topics and reference sources for complementary and alternative medicine. Macomb library card holders can use this online in the library or at home - please ask at the front desk for a password.

  • Thousands of classic ebooks you can download for free to your PC, Kindle, Nook, or other e-reader. Check their Top 100 Downloaded titles for an idea of books included. Free audio versions of many classic titles in a variety of file types (including MP3 and iTunes). Includes titles in English and other languages.
